About myself

Hi people! My name is Mdm Zhu

I have been teaching primary and secondary school students chinese tuition and higher chinese tuition since 2000 and have helped hundreds of students all over Singapore improve their chinese language. My mission is to help Singaporean students master chinese language.

As a masters degree holder, ex-MOE teacher & founder of Gen-Y tuition centre (located at Tampines) , I have the experience & resources to help you achieve great results through my chinese tuition lessons.

Currently, I'm a full-time tutor giving one-to-one and group tuition to p1 - p6, sec 1 - sec 4 chinese and higher chinese students. I also produce study notes, learning materials for students to assess online.

    Over 100 of my students prefer group chinese tuition as it is convenient, affordable and effective. My group tuition lessons are all held at my tuition centre at tampines st 21 blk 210b (see map). The classrooms are air-conditioned and very conducive for lessons. In order to keep the lessons focused & provide students with individual attention, I keep my classes small (< 5 students).

    For those who need more individual attention, I can come to your house for private chinese tuition. Fees are more expensive but lesson will be more focused. All my study resources including notes and exam papers will be given for 1-1 students. If you need more help on essay or other components of chinese, I can tweak my lessons to focus on those components.

    All my chinese tuition students will get a premium membership account on this site for access to tons of custom study notes, exam resources, exam papers for chinese. Homework wil be uploaded online 3x per week. Upload your completed homework online to get them marked by me.

    My study materials are designed to help students ACE their chinese exams, Also, members can also ask questions and get help from me online through the forum. You can create an account to download the materials without joining my tuition.

  • Open to: Primary 1-6, Secondary 1-2 Chinese and Higher Chinese

    During the holidays and before exam period, there will be 1-2 week courses that are focused on preparing the students for chinese exam. In the crash course, there will be a lot of exam papers revision and focused practice. For example, I will go through the format for essays and exams, go through model essays so that the students will be prepared for the exam.

    The holiday/exam programs will take up more time than normal chinese tuition lessons and will usually last for several consecutive days. Learn more by calling 98008926.

Located at tampines, Gen-Y tuition centre was established in 2003 and has since helped over 500 students improve their results. All my chinese tuition lessons for group chinese tuition are conducted in the classrooms of my tuition centre. The small classrooms means that I can limit the number of students and keep the class focused. If you live near the area, I would be very happy to see you join my class.
